Against the best military tech that WWII had to offer, the conquest tools of The Race are devastatingly effective. However, because of their very strict and conservative ways of research, their military is about on par with what we today consider modern - albeit far more efficient and streamlined through millennia of incremental improvement - for example, their energy is derived from hydrogen fuel cells. Indeed compared to the mighty Race, the military of the Tosevites of the time was considered slow and clunky - but confusingly, the Tosevites began to close the gap very quickly.
I designed their tech to match a sort of "desert" color palette, as they consider right and proper. They have design that closely mirrors our own in function but with some reptilian flair to remind them of Home. Red painted accents denote their function as weapons belonging to the conquest fleet, while I imagine colonization items would be painted with white or pale yellow accents.
Guns tend to be mounted in spherical turrets, to mimic their eyes. The starships, for example, have their bows modeled after the faces of the Emperors Past they're named after, and the "eyes" of said sculpts are functional nuclear missile launchers.

This gives life to what I tried to imagine what the Race's military vehicles would look like, but what about the invasion fleet ships and the colonization ships.
